Battle of the Bands & The 4th of July

I ventured to Thatcher in July with the kids for Jason, Nate and Nick's battle of band competition and to make it even better they won!

I'm glad I captured this cat photo so I can remember the crazy feline colony at the Thatcher house. My parents decided to sell the house so this is a memory I don't want to forget, haha.
Flagstaff puts on a family friendly event and we had a blast going down the bouncy slides and watching fireworks!

I came in one day and found Leah had made herself a camp out party in the kitchen
July was also very exciting as we announced baby Johnson coming in February!
I did a horrible job keeping track of my belly/baby growth. My guess is I'm about 14 weeks along. I was sick and tired but so excited our first round of clomid worked! I took a test at about 28 days and it came up negative and even had a ultrasound. I eventually retested at almost 40 days and got my positive pregnancy test, fun times ahead!

Off to the corn festival we went! It was hot but we had a blast!
And the corn really was so good!

Jeter won the water balloon toss, way to go Jeter!

And to top it off we visited some of Kameron's old stomping grounds to cool off in and do a little fishing.

 Some random pictures...

We are First Graders

Oh June, how I love this time of year. I've decided June is my favorite. Between my birthday, anniversary, the weather-especially Monsoon season and the change to summer break-it's just hard to beat.

Yay for First Grade! Kindergarten was a tough one. Moving from Thatcher to a new and bigger school was hard for this kid, once again showing me how tough my kids are, and his momma. This graduation for us was a chapter closing but also a new start. Way to go Jeter!!

 Summer days at the pond.

We headed to Thatcher for Brianna's wedding, always a good time visiting ole' Ttown

Living it up in Flagstaff! We love getting to fish and enjoy the beautiful weather!

We celebrated 10 years of marriage! We unfortunately didn't get to do anything fun and exciting, Boo! But we have each other and that is pretty perfect to me.

Cade came home! He served in the Boise, Idaho mission, it was such a special moment to see him come home. So proud of this kid!

May Recap

I am not sure where the time went. But it has been a while. Leah still has bottle in these pictures, that tells me I need to blog a little more often. These are from the apartment days, while it wasn't my fondest memories there were some good times hiking around and enjoying the Flagstaff summer weather.

Jeter played his first year of coach pitch. It was a little scary getting started with a pitching machine, but he caught on and had some good plays! We can't wait to play again this year!
Brett is on 6 month check ups! I will say it again and again, this kid is a trooper. He does things that little kids usually don't have to go through and while his spunk can make things a little more dramatic I admire his grit. Love this kid and so grateful he is doing well, 2 years cancer free!!!!!

And of course little Leah to add some sun shine to the day!
