Update

So I had my first piano teaching experience today! The student didn't bring his books so Thank Goodness I had gone through a bunch of old books mom lent me (thanks mom!) So we just played those and did some scale work. He wants to learn Jazz...yeah we'll see how that goes! I'll probably have to learn along with him.
So Kameron totally busted his finger the other day at work. The nail is all black and the blackness look like its leaking onto his skin. It isn't broken but I feel bad for him! It can't feel good. And Kam got his new phone! A palm centro from verizon. It's really a cool phone! of course now I feel that I need a new phone! Eventually. Right now money is being a pain in the you know what. Our car totally died. It's going to be expensive to fix it. It really sucks. But I remember Nate saying one time "Life sucks. Get a helmet" haha. So we are just going to push through all this and start saving up again.
We have a lot of driving ahead of us. We are going to Utah for Mandy on Wednesday. So we'll be missing work Thursday. Drive back to Flagstaff Thursday night and than we'll go to work Friday and than head out to Heber that evening for our cabin trip with Kameron's family. The drive to Utah won't be very uplifting because the whole thing is so sad. So sad.
Hopefully we have a good Labor Day weekend and can start feeling better after the trip to Utah. But work is going good for us both. And Kameron has liked all his classes so far this semester. So let's hope it motivates him to do Homework! Yay!

Sad news

Life is such a fragil thing. On my Johnson side my father in laws brother Bevin has a daughter named Mandy. About my age. She went to the Ukraine to teach english just a little bit ago and just got engaged. But sadly we got the news this morning she was in a fatal plan crash that killed all 10 people on board. I was just starting to get to know Mandy since we lived apart we only got to know eachother during family get togethers. But this still hurts. I am grateful for the gospel that lets us know she is now okay, but what a beautiful face we will miss. What a wonderful giving personality that has left us. Life is fragil. Live the gospel. Don't take it for granted. Tell your loved ones you love them and don't waste what time we have here together. I wish this horrible event didn't have to happen to make me remember that. But I love my family. Every memory we have together and all the times we've had to be a family and the times to come.

And now my Feet hurt

So I started my new job. Well I've been in training, but today was the first day of real hard-core in your face you-don't-know-what-you-are-doing. Serving the kids wasn't bad..but everyone knows the frist day of a job. Yuck. And get this, I'm surrounded my food and I can have one free meal. We made cheesebrugers today and turkey and cheese sandwiches. But anyways I was around so much of it I couldn't eat it! I didn't really feel hungry all day cause I was busy pretty much every second, but how is that I can work around the food all day and go home without eating that morning at 6:00AM? And it's now after 2:00PM? So I've started reading "Breaking Dawn" and why why why did I start reading it once I had a job?? I spent about TWO months with nothing to do and now I have a job and I just decide to read this most incredibly addicting book? Hm, something seems wrong with that. AND So now I've started working until 2 in the afternoon and usually Kameron gets off around then BUT this week he's been getting off 10:30-11:30...All those weeks I would have nothing to do but wait for him to get home, which happened around 2 or even later! and now! Life just loves to throw those curve balls atchya. But it's all good. Once school starts We'll be lucky if we get to see eachother every once in a while. So these days I'm reading "Breaking Dawn" and Kameron plays his new Football game. Fun fun fun!!

So this past weekend we went to Utah for Natalie's Wedding in the St. George Temple. It was a lot of fun being with the family we don't really get to see a whole lot! We did get stuck in traffic because of an accident..but who doesn't like really long, long, long car rides? But the wedding went great and the Cottonwood reception turned out really nice! Just all that driving. It takes about an hour from Flagstaff to Cottonwood but of course we had get stuck in traffic coming into sedona for about 45 minutes. Going to the St. George temple was a neat experience my first time in any other temple but the Mesa and my first marriage sealing besides me own. We had a really fun time.
