So here is a beautiful picture of Lake Mead early in the morning. There is just something about being out in a boat before the day starts. We went to Lake Mead for the annual Johnson get-together. The weather could have been a little better but the fishing was good and we had a great time! Can't wait till next year! here are some pics:

We took my family's boat out. Sadly the battery was bad so we had to jump it everytime but now that we are back home I think Kameron has it figured out so our next trips won't have that problem. It was fun being on that boat so many memories. It's fun to be putting more memories into it too!
And last but not least here is a picture of us, sadly my excitment for spring has been put on hold. It is still snowing! School is starting to wrap up in the next couple of weeks just to start some summer school! yay. But life is good and we just enjoy it!

Hello Spring!

I like spring. It makes you want to clean and have a fresh start! We went to Lake Pleasant (um don't know if I spelt that right) this past weekend. Unfortunatly Kameron and I have both been getting sick. He's got a cold/flu and I had really bad stomach bug. I am feeling better but Kameron is still fighting his. But nevertheless the lake was fun, even though we didn't even get a single bite. I am blaming the moon cycle. It was fun to get to use the DeRusha family boat! And get some sun! This weekend we are looking forward to a nice quite time just watching conference. And some more good news...well I guess it depends on who you ask, but Kameron, his brother and his dad got drawn for elk hunting in November. Atleast this time I won't have to go camp in the freezing cold. For all you hunters out there unit 7E is pretty much in our backyard. Kinda. So good luck guys!!
Other than that nothing else exciting. Just working and school. But life is going good. Atleast it isn't snowing anymore! Just wind, but like I said it sure is nice to see a hint of spring.

Quality Time Together. That's our life motto these days! So here are some updated pictures of what we've been up to...

I always have to post snow pictures because it just shows whatliving in Flagstaff is like. Thankfully the snow is melting and it kinda of feels like spring!!

Seriously the snow was so high! Poor Kameron had to dig his way to his truck at 4:30 AM! what a trooper!

Yay for Valentine's Day! We got to go to Outback Steakhouse for a delicous dinner! Thanks to the gift card from christmas. We decided that would be a great annual christmas gift so we could use it for valentine's day and not feel bad about going out to a nicer resturant. Yummy!
So here are a bunch of pictures of us at Walnut Canyon. It's about 15 minutes from where we live. I was really windy and the cold we are kinda used to. It was really cool to see where people used to live and just be outsoors. And the 270 (Kameron had to count every step) steps back up the canyon was sure a good work out.

I like how I fit in the little cave/home haha.

you can kinda see the home in the right of the picture.
And I can't imagine how these people lived so high up! It made my legs feel like Jello!
So not too much has been going on. Just school and work. We are headed to Mesa, Thatcher and Cottonwood next weekend because we are borrowing the boat so we can take it to Lake Mead. Kam's parents are nice to let us keep it at their place. But yeah we are looking forward to Lake Mead and spending time with family whenever we can. The Lord has deffinatly given us some hard trials these past couple of months but we just try to learn from them and become stonger people and strengthen our testimonies.

Hey what's goin on? Well these past couple weeks have been fun...we've experience real living in the snow. Driving and the aftermath. Seriously the snow just starts to melt and it's cold it freezes. But it's all good. Oh and the pictures down below are of the melting snow off our house and than it freezes so you get these really cool iceicles (sp?) we had a humongous one! But Kameron broke it off before I could get a picture. And we went to Mesa last weekend for a friends weeding. It was so fun going to the temple and being there for a wedding. My second wedding to be at, but my first in the mesa temple, which will always just be a special place for me cause of our wedding day. But we had a great time with friends and the reception was beautiful! Oh and I got to meet up with the girls! And that saturday we went rifle shooting with Julie her boyfriend and some other people. It was fun! I am not really in to shooting a rifle though. The noise is just too loud! Anyways we just hung out in mesa talked with my mom and brother till after midnight for two nights in a row! Thank goodness we got to sleep in. And now we are just back to the grind. Working and school. Our next fun thing is Lake Mead in the beginning of April so we've got a while till we see a good break.

Kameron just chilli'n. Literally, it just cost to much to keep our place warm so we have to bundle up!

Us at the reception. Kameron was one of the best men. He looked Soo handsome!

Christmas 2008

Christmas! Well this year we went to the Johnson's in Cottonwood, got up at 4:00 AM...yes I think we got up earlier than my 5 year old nephew. But that's OK cause I got to take a lot of naps during the day. But we had a great time. Just played with new toys and hanging out. And I can't believe I put this picture up cause I look like I got up before the sun, oh wait I did, but I have to show off My Guitar Hero! World Tour! I have the most wonderful husband! I seriously havn't wanted a "toy" like that in a long time. I just kept wishing it would show up, and it did!! yay!

And than Kameron and I went to work on Friday, another day another dollar, and then headed off to Mesa to be with the DeRusha fam. My parents just got a new office/house on power and baseline so we stayed there, acutally my brother Jason is going to live there also so we will be getting to spend more time with him which I'm very happy about! And we went over to Janel's and had Lunch and did presents. I even saw some cousins I havn't seen in ages! And us four girls sang an awesome arrangment of slient night for our parents. It was so fun to sing like that again. Oh and Brianna came for christmas too..we are just missing Nate :( still hanging out in Korea. But this summer we will all be meeting up in Minnesota for our family reunion!!!!!!

So anywho that was our christmas celebration, and for new years we just stayed in Flag and hung out with the family that live here. I can't believe it's 2009 but I am glad for the new year to start over and hopefully have a great year!

Happy Holidays!

So we spent Thanksgiving in Thatcher. Well we had Thanksgiving dinner in Mesa at Janel's new awesome house and than went to Thatcher for the weekend. Had a great time! I love Thatcher and especially spending time witht the family. Kameron had to find ways to entertain himself while I helped decorate and went and saw twlight. But he did get to go shooting so it was a good trip for the both of us.

This is our Second Christmas already! Seriously time is flying by so fast!
This is the fireplace decorations that my Mom so generously provided for me last year that I couldn't look at until This year. It was a great idea cause I felt like I was opening up early christmas presents!

Kameron likes to get a real christmas tree and I have to say the tradition is growing on me. I love the decorations. It's simple but it brings the feeling of christmas to our little home. But life is going good. School is wrapping up for Kameron which he is so happy about. We are going to Cottonwood for christmas and than we'll go down to Mesa after Kameron works for a little while on Friday. And Brianna is coming for Christmas!! Whooo!!! It feels like our family lives across the world from eachother, oh wait we do! Haha. Someday hopefully everyone can live on the main land so we can be ALL together more than once every couple years. Merry Christmas to Everyone and have a Happy New Year!
