Brett Robert Johnson

Our little Brett came Sunday, September 1, 2013!!! 7 lbs 4 oz 19 inches. 12:39 pm. And we just Love Him!
I started having contractions 3:00 am on Sunday and moaned until 5 am until Kameron woke up and helped me time them but we couldn't get a steady count, some would come fast and then others our be 6-7 minutes apart. And they were lower not really across my belly so I thought maybe it was a pre-labor deal and I didn't want to go to the hospital and be sent away but the pain was getting almost unbearable and I couldn't imagine feeling like that much longer. We decide to just go around 7 am I get a shower (barely) and head to the hospital. It being labor day babies took that seriously it was one of their busiest days in 30 years. I waited in the hall for about 20 minutes and then got into a room. By the time they checked me I was 6 cm! 100% effaced! My water still hadn't broken yet and I was dying for that epidural! The anethiesiologist-Jason-was awesome. But right after I got settled after my blood pressure dropped. Really Low. I threw up had to be put on oxygen and the blood pressure cuff was going off every minute. But they worked really fast and calmly and got things under control. I just had to do a lot of deep breathing and would get sick and dizzy. My body was moving very quickly. I got to 8 cm and they broke my water and gave me a little petocin. I did a couple test pushes and his head was right there so they got the doctor in I pushed for about a minute and he came right out! I guess his head was blocking the amniotic fluid so that burst all over the doctor almost hit mom, yikes. And of course the little guy peed when he came out and some got on my face, but he was all blonde hair and he screamed for a good hour. He was hoarse for a couple of days poor thing. But he is just adorable and such a good baby. Sleeps good and is eating good. Jeter just loves him and Kameron is an awesome dad! We are so happy and so blessed to have him here!!!

Playing Catch Up!

A few weekends back we went to the Phoenix Children's Museum! There were so many cool thing and I could go back just to learn! We all had a really fun time!

This drum set would pound along with your heart beat-Kameron's was as fast as mine once he had done 10 jumping jacks because your body is working double time while it's pregnant!

I'm thinking I am 32-35 weeks somewhere around there, the time is just going by so fast I forget!
So Jeter still loves to "organize" or "line up" his toys. It is the funniest thing! Sometimes it's just cars and like this day it was Everything!!

 scooping up the pecans!

I know 3D shots are kind of weird but the gal really got a good picture of our little guy, This was around 36 weeks.
 Playing with Daddy!!
 NY shirt from Emily!
We have done some awesome projects lately. Both pieces are already in new homes. I love trying new products and I learn something new every time!
Jeter and Sophie! I don't know if it's Jeter's sweet little voice or because Sophie is just a happy little girl but these two really get along! Sophie smiles and stares at him and Jeter loves when she comes over and gives her lots of hugs!

My dad had a big project for work and Brianna got to stain all these iron pieces for him. 100 of them I think! That girl worked hard!

And here we are 37 weeks! I'm already 2 1/2 cm and 70% effaced, if I could just get some steady contractions and not these wimpy braxton hicks we could have a baby here any day! He is still a strong little guy, cracked me in the ribs a couple of times ouch! So excited to add him to our family!!
Kameron has started working in New Mexico for a job that will last 100 days, it is about 2 1/2 hours away so he is only coming home on the weekends. We don't like it very much but you do what you have to and it is temporary, just kind of happened at a very inconvenient time! We are so grateful for all Kameron does for our family he is such a hard worker!

Oh what do You do in the Summer Time?!

We have been doing a lot of fun things lately! I have to be really creative these days because it is so hot outside I have to keep Jeter busy inside!
First we started with home made play dough! So much fun! I think they played for two hours and Everyone could join in!
Even Grandma Margie! This picture cracks me up!!! They are in awe of the shape the cookie cutter made, so funny!

Even my niece Ava and her friend made some
And then Killian came over and smooshed all the colors together!

We get really bored, we break out the tape and make ourselves into "tough guys" and eat cheetos

For the weekend of the Fourth of July we got away and went to Rio Rico, AZ! about 20 minutes from the border! It was just what our little family needed and we got to do a little bit of everything! The resort had an awesome pool and the room, which Jeter calls "Daddy's House" because when we visit Kameron in Globe we always stay at a hotel, was so much fun!!

Kameron of course mapped out some fishing spots to check out, the first one was okay, I got to see some deer jump right in front of us as we walked to the shore and Kameron  caught a bass, too many bugs but it was fun!

Jeter loves, loves fishing! Especially with his dad!
And the fourth of July was that weekend-forgot to mention Emily and Trent came too! And adorable little Sophie! I'm so glad they came it was so fun!
I just love this little baby girl!
Family picture outside our room, awesome view!!!
Jeter giving me a heart attack, playing on the rocks by the edge, eek!
Jeter surprised me and loved the fire works!
Emily and Trent left the day before us and on our last day we checked out and headed to Lake Patagonia, which is a big lake, super family friendly and shore line to play on! We rented a little fishing boat for a couple hours, had hamburgers and just enjoyed the water and sunshine!

The lake is perfect for rock jumping, Go Kam!
It was such a fun trip we would definitely go back!!
