The zoo and more DeRusha Cousin time

We visited the tucson zoo and had so much fun! It is a small zoo and a perfect day trip

 Oh, Jeter....

We had a fun day spending time with Nate's kids!

Leah tried eating the playdough, I told her not too... :)

 Our little jockey

We also went to see Santa in the Park. So glad we got to spend time with each of our cousins before our move up north!

Thanksgiving of 2016

With all the moving happening this was a strange thanksgiving but a good one nontheless. Kameorn has his elk hunt and he was very happy to snag an elk the first morning! We will now be eating elk stew, elk steaks, elk burgers,..It was quite exciting!!
We stayed in Thatcher and had a quiet thanksgiving with my parents.

 Love these kiddos!

Leah and her cats....capturing the cat
 getting the cat to cooperate
 loving the cat
 feeling the love
 well maybe....

haha good times in Thatcher!

FamilyFun

So catching up with life...we sold our house and Kameron got a job in Flagstaff. Skipping all the drama, we had to temporarily move in with my mom and dad for about a month until our apartment in Flagstaff became available. I am glad we had the time to spend time in Thatcher before leaving, that would've been a little hard and we also were able to meet up at Janel's house for a pre-thanksgiving dinner with the Christensen's.
Cuddles with Grandma Ginny became a nightly ritual.
 Meeting baby Pierce!

The DeRusha clan from Pima got to spend the night so we had some serious cousin time! It was awesome.
Grandma Margie is down in Mesa and while visiting her she told Brett how we could go see the dragons in the desert and all sorts of other interesting facts. I love this grandma of mine and we are so blessed to have her.

So, Brett's appointments have moved to every three months. His checkups have continued to go well! He is our little miracle and I think about it every day. Every day. How blessed we are and looking back cannot believe how far we and he have come.
