Teeth!

Jeter is all ready for Valentine's Day! He's got the looks and the style and he is the only boy in nursery! Well for now he is my little charmer, don't need him growing up too fast. He is growing up though and getting lots of teeth. I feel so bad the poor kid can't eat half the time and his mouth hurts. Medicine helps but cutting teeth just isn't fun!

What is fun is going out for cookouts! Kameron found this nice little area about 20 minutes outside Globe. We made yummy hamburgers and apple crisp and got to play with fire!

There was a cat that kept coming around so we fed him some leftovers. Then later we saw a sign "watch for rabbied animals" um yikes. But the cat seemed normal so no worries. And there was a watch for bobcats. So after that I was looking over my shoulder every 5 seconds. But it was a fun little outing.

Tonto National Monument

Jeter loves it outside so we spend a lot of time in the backyard, in the boat, at the park. Now that the weather isn't so cold it's kind of nice to get out of the house and use the tire swing and go exploring in the large backyard.

This past weekend we went to the cliff dwelings. They're about 45 minutes outside of Globe with Lake Roosevelt on the other side of the highway. The weather was perfect, we got some excerise, and Jeter was in a great mood the entire time!

DIY Project 2012

For the year of 2012 I want to make a "pin" every month. Atleast one. If my budget and energy provides more than that, yay for me! And when I say Pin I mean that wonderful website called Pintrest and any Pin I have added that I want to try out. So for January I made these flowers:

This wasn't a Pin but I thought it was worth sharing. These are weight watcher cookies (new years resolution-weight loss!!) But I seriously will make this recipe and just eat more of them even if I wasn't trying to loose weight they are that good. I think some major factors were the butter was at room temperature, I used a beater the whole time, didn't grease the pan, and used semi sweet chocolate chips. Not sure if those did make a difference, but I'm trying to figure out why these "healthy" cookies tasted so much better than any other un-healthy recipe I've made. And really they arn't healthy, weight watchers is all about portion control. These are mini.

2 Tbsp salted butter, softened

2 tsp canola oil (we used vegetable)

½ cup packed brown sugar, dark-variety

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 tsp table salt

1 Large egg white

¾ cup all-purpose flower

¼ tsp baking soda

3 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips, about ½ cup

Make like regular cookies (mix the wet, seperatly mix the dry, add together, bake at 350) but only cook for 4-6 minutes. And drop by teaspoons. Yeah they're little but so good! 1 point/2 points plus per cookie. Make them, you won't be disappointed!

We went to Southern Utah for New Years we didn't get much sleep, rode horses and had a really fun new years party with all the cousins! It such a pretty place and we always enjoy visiting family there.

we went out and looked at the chickens and every time we handed Jeter an egg he would throw it! Only two casualties until we caught on.

We went out for a hike our last day and rode horses. It was fun, but I was under some stress because I couldn't find my wedding ring, don't worry we found it. But I was worried all day and it was hard to enjoy myself. Kameron and Jeter fell off the horse because it tripped so that was scary. I am just glad no one got hurt. We can ride horses again but I was done for the day.

The best part was going to Tia Pan and finding these little beauties! I'm not sure how I will use them but I couldn't not buy them! I love that place and the valentine display was to die for! They should build one in Arizona!

It was a fun trip but that seven hour drive was a killer. Jeter did really well actually, but we won't be taking any long trips for a while. So for now bring on 2012!!! And good luck on all those New Years Resolutions!!

Have Yourself a Very Merry Little Christmas!

I have been trying to get this posted for some time but blogger has been difficult and we went out of town for New Year's so, here is Christmas! We went to Janel's house in Queen Creek. It was a great christmas we really had fun and I loved going to church. Something about it just seemed right and kept us in the true meaning of Christmas a little longer.

I went up to Thatcher that week and we played with Killian's new toy...we are still learning to share !

I have to find ways to entertain Jeter while driving by myself so I came up with the great idea of a chocolate hershey kiss...it kept him quiet but it was bath time when we got home!

The best part of christmas was the Kitchen table from my parents! Love it so much! I woke up the next morning thinking "was that a dream?!" But it was still there! I just love it!

Kameron's Graduation

Blogger wasn't cooperating so my pictures are out of order. So I guess I'll start with Kam's graduation! We went up to Flagstaff for the occasion, he graduated with his bachelor's in construction management. Kameron has worked so hard and taken on work full time and school full time and got honors for good grades! He seriously is amazing. He is so glad to be done and looking forward to working and coming home. The guys in his major wore hard hats the are in the far section in the middle. It was a good ceremony and we are so proud of him!

We went to the mall to give Jeter some walk around time and he got ride some rides there and had the time of his life! We also stopped by the toy store where you can play with toys, probably the happiest place on earth next to Disney Land.

This is our Christmas tree, Jeter hasn't really bothered it much and the fresh pine tree smell is a nice addition! We have this little Christmas count down and it has a Santa on it and Jeter said "Santa" a couple of times and he defiantly knows who Santa is. So funny.

It snowed a couple weekends ago. Maybe an inch and a half. It was a fun treat though. Snow seems to follow us wherever we go. Jeter wasn't too excited about playing in it though.

We went to the Globe light parade too. It was fun to get out and see all the towns people we live by.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2011

Thanksgiving was different this year. Good but Different. Kameron worked on Thanksgiving so he could have an extra day hunting up in Flagstaff. So after much debate I ended up just going down to Mesa with my parents and Emily for lunch at Janel's. The food was so so good. One of the best and it was a successful Thanksgiving Day! My mom, Emily and I stayed at a hotel that night than went shopping (not early bird style) and it was my Mom's birthday! I than traveled with Cade to Prescott to spend the weekend there while Kameron hunted. Overall it was a fun weekend but it was good to be home.

On Thanksgiving night we went and saw the Emerson bunch! We got to meet Dyllon (Adam's little boy-he's like 14 months I think)

The balloons were very distracting and I couldn't get the boys to look! I am so glad we went everyone was there but Austin. We even got to meet Jean the newest Emerson baby and see Tommy Joe and her little girls So fun!

Natalie and I hung out all day Saturday. Logan is really growing up! He is a scooter like Jeter but uses both legs, we had a lot of fun playing with him!

Jeter loves walking! And running sometimes, he handles the falling pretty well haha. It's so fun to see him walking though, he's not a baby anymore though! I don't know how I feel about that. But he is loving it and it has opened a whole new world for him!

A lot of Little things

Just a bunch of small happenings have been going on. This isn't important but I made chicken egg rolls the other night and they were so good! I'm not usually big on deep fried dinners, but just once in a while doesn't hurt right?

My dad made Jeter a tire swing and we gave it a test swing the other day and Jeter love it! I knew he would, he loves swings. It is a fun thing for us to do during the day without having to go all the way to the park. Fun in the backyard yeah!

November 12 was Kameron 28th birthday! He said he had a great birthday and I know I had a fun weekend. We went down to Queen Creek, ran errands (including a new pair of birthday shoes for Kam) and took family pictures! (soon to come!) Janel took them and they turned out great! So excited for them, it's been a long time coming for those.

We also graduated Jeter to a forward facing car seat! Driving in a car is such a more enjoyable experience!!! Love it! We also got a new car. Haven't taken pictures of that but it's a gray, 2011 Chevy Traverse. I love love love it!!! I actually enjoy driving now!!

Jeter fell asleep and I thought this looked soooo uncomfortable! Babies are funny!

Speaking of funny, this was more ugh! Jeter likes to empty out the cupboards these days and found the cereal boxes. Cherrios every where!!

How could a cute face like this do something like that? Oh, it can. Jeter is walking but prefers to scoot. I guess I don't blame him he is closer to the ground (no falling involved) and he's good at it! His personality is really coming through and we love getting to actually communicate and play with him. He likes to stack blocks now, which is so cute to watch. He thinks you have to press really hard to get them to stay, so funny!

Update: Kameron finally got offered a full time job with Freeport McMoran! The job was for here in Globe and the project doesn't end until 2013 so we will be here until then and who knows where after that. I don't really like that part of the job (moving around) so hopefully things can get figured out where we can have a more permanent location. Kam got called to be the young men's secretary and I am in the nursery. Kameron loves his calling and I don't mind mine either because Jeter just gets to play and I can eat snacks. Haha! We are looking forward to the holidays, can't believe they're in full swing! And Kam has his November hunt in Flagstaff the day after thanksgiving! Should be a fun filled two months!

Puppies and Monsters!

Jeter got the "Cars" push toy for his birthday and he loves it! We go out to the basketball courts and he just pushes away! Good thing the weather has cooled down and it's nice to sit outside now.

For Halloween we headed up to Thatcher. Kameron and I gave our talks in church on Sunday, than I headed home with my mom and Kameron came up after work the next day. We had a blast celebrating Halloween with the little boys!

Track. He is the biggest "baby" dog. He doesn't usually chase after balls. He sits on tables and if you sit down on a bench he jumps up and tries to snuggle with you!
My dad built tire swings for the boys. We still need to hang ours up! And he is in the process of building a dream tree house with a big tire swing...Seriously my parents house is a jungle gym.

Jeter Turns One!!

Before I start on Jeter's birthday we had a little visitor the other day. I was playing with Jeter and looked over and there was this lizard crawling along in the family room! I screamed bloody murder, not even exagerating! I can handle little lizards (like the time I lifted some clothes off the bed and a little lizard was just hanging out there, yikes!) But this one was not little. I had to wait for Kam to get home, about 20 minutes, to get the thing outside where it belongs!!!

Jeter turned one on Wednesday October 19, 2011!! I love this little boy so much! I love watching him grow but I want him to stay little forever!!

Jeter loves to walk around (with some help, but he's so close to walking on his own!) He loves saying "hi" and "dadda" he loves to crawl all over me and he loves his daddy because he makes him laugh the hardest!

We had his birthday party on Friday and lots of family were able to come! We had yummy chicken taco chili, pumpkin sheet cake, chocolate cupcakes! We painted pumpkins, opened presents and had fun watching Jeter eat his birthday cake! It was such a good day and Jeter was such a good sport through the whole day!

October Festivities

October started out with a bang! I love that a new season starts with conference. I love General Conference! I'm so sad when it is over and it always seems to go by so fast. It was a good weekend just staying home and getting the house ready for Fall/Halloween! Here are some pictures:

I was really excited to use some home-grown pumpkins this year! And I kind of learned back to basics when it came to decorating them; paint and tape!

I was bored one day and cut out some "spooky" letters. I'm not that excited about them, I think it looked better in my head. I do love my bats. I cut out a bunch of bats and put them around the house. It gives a fun Halloween "feel" all around!

I'm proud of this cause it came off the corn stalks from the garden. My clever mom pointed them out and I was able to salvage some!

I also made a blue berry crumb cake on Sunday morning. I love trying recipes, and this one came from the Barfoot Contessa from the Food Network. It was yummmy!

So the next event was going to Thatcher. It was a fun filled weekend! We went to the fair, got to see Emily's friend Katrina and her husband Stephen visiting from California. They are sooo fun! We can't wait to see them again soon! Here are some pictures from the fair:

On Sunday afternoon we were playing outside and had so much fun watching Killian push Jeter around on this monster truck! It was so cute and so entertaining! Killian could really get some speed and Jeter loved it!

We recently went to the Diamond Backs game with some family. It was a very exciting game because it got the D-Backs into the post season, and we Won! So it was way fun to be a part of that!! Fireworks and everything! And thanks to Emily Lunt and Jason Lunt for watching Jeter so we could enjoy the game!!

We then drove to Cottonwood. Kam's family is moving in a couple of weekends and we went for Kameron to walk through his childhood home one last time. I decided Jeter just needs a pile of rocks for his birthday...rocks and dirt keep this kid entertained for a while.

September Birthdays!

We went to Queen Creek to celebrate Janel and Ava's birthdays! We first went to Cooper's football game and than had a fun party afternoon at Janel's house. Complete with Greek food, games, and football! Oh and cake! It was a lot of fun!!

Jeter is obsessed with pushing strollers, shopping carts, anything with wheels! He was so hot and I had to force him to drink some water and get out of the sun. He was not happy. But he seemed to enjoy all the people and being outside!

Labor Day 2011

We went up to Flagstaff for Labor Day weekend. Everyone was able to make it which was very fun and we finally got all the little boys together for the first time. Conner, Logan and Jeter:

This picture makes me laugh! Jeter's face is priceless, he is always giving an aloof look these days whenever we attempt to take a picture these days.

Logan is six months and a sweet little boy! It was so much fun to finally spend some time with him!

The trip started out a little rough, I forgot Jeter's bag (I felt like a horrible mother!) so we went into town to get him some new clothes to make it through the weekend. He needed new clothes so I guess it worked out. And Natalie and Caryn helped me out with all the other little things that got left behind like wipes and pajamas!

Russ likes to give the babies new experiences and helped Conner and Logan share the stroller. It defiantly didn't last long but it was pretty funny!

It was a fun trip, but it was good to get home and get Jeter back on a sleep schedule and in his own crib.

Happy Birthday Killian!

We celebrated Killian's first birthday this past weekend up in Thatcher. His birthday is this Wednesday the 31st. This kid is so funny! He can make dog noises and can dance. He is a crack up! I was in charge of video taping so my pictures aren't the greatest, but I'm hoping to get some other that hopefully I can add later. We had a great time at the Thatcher park and overall a great weekend! Happy Birthday Killian we love you!!!

Why I didn't get a picture of Killian's cute face, not sure. But here he is with Bri and Grandma Ginny. I guess Killian stabbed a piece of food and ate it! Quite the accomplishment for a little one year old!

Some more news: Kameron's parents have made a career change and are moving up to Laverkin, Utah in the next couple of months. It's going to be a big change, but that's life I guess! Kameron is commuting to ASU for his last class (whoohoo!!) But it's expensive and a realllly long day for the both of us. Hopefully it's a quick semester. He's still enjoying his new job and we are enjoying Globe and can't wait for the fall weather to kick in a cool it down!

Baby Steps

A while ago Kameron bought an Ex-tra large tarp for the boat. We ended up taking it back and down sizing but not before we really got the chance to enjoy the size of this tarp with Jeter on it!

We also gave Jeter a little hair cut but we had to enjoy the long-Do before it was trimmed.

We like to spend time with cousins!

Jeter and I have spent some quality time practicing crawling. But just recently he has decided to use those arms and legs so conveniently attached to his body! We are very excited mostly because the poor little guy is frustrated with his immobility, which makes mommy frustrated. So it's a win-win situation! Hasn't learned the move forward part but he is learning very quickly for not having done anything until his 10 month mark. It's amazing his skinny little legs can hold him up that's for sure! Good thing he is still 16 lbs!!!

Raidrops Keep Falling On My Head...

The monsoon season is here! I don't think I've seen this much rain in a long time. It's great for the garden, but makes our house a little muggy. But it defiantly cools things down and rain is just fun!!

I just thought this picture was funny. Jeter likes to read his magazine in bits and pieces.

We harvested a watermelon and some corn the other day! Jeter was so excited!!

I made these very yummy chocolate cookies. Perfect chocolate fix and a great texture. I want to try them with mint or even peanut butter! Mmmm.

My mom, Emily and I went antique-ing in Globe this past weekend and I have been wanting some cute S&P shakers! Well Globe is a great place to look! I had options but these were my favorite. I am kind of tempted to go get the others that got left behind...

I also had some visitors! Emily Lunt and Julie Ellerman came to visit us!! It was such a fun day. I would highly recommend visiting her blog for some comic relief!!

Oh where does the time go? It's funny it seemed like we picked up where we left off. Like we just got back from spring break and there hadn't been a 4 year break. I love being close to friends and hope to enjoy more visits and make more visits to Mesa and see these lovely faces more often!

Chili!

I made some chili for dinner and it was super good! So I thought I would share it:

1 piece steak cut into small cubes (about 2 servings)
2-3 medium sized potatoes
1 can pinto, kidney or black beans-undrained
1 can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomato with green chili-undrained
1 cup water
1 TB cilantro
1 TB chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 TB dehydrated onion
dash of garlic powder
salt, pepper

brown your meat, drain it
bake potatoes in the microwave for 3-4 minutes (until soft but not mushy)-
or you could boil, cut into small cubes
combine beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, water, cilantro and spices
stir and bring to boil over medium heat
Mix well and serve with sour cream, bread or whatever sounds good!

The fun thing about chili is you can make it any way you want. No potatoes, two cans of beans, no cilantro. There really is no way to mess it up. Well maybe...but there really is so many different things you could do to change it up!

Jeter sprouted his first tooth the other day! A little bottom one. Poor little guy got a cold either from it or it was just bad timing. The drool has kind of stopped but not quite. We just love this little guy!!!!

Diamond Backs Game!

I went searching for veggies in our garden the other day and came across some zucchini!! The are green like the leaves so I think I have over looked them several times. But that gave us some giant zucchini!

Kameron was able to get some diamond backs tickets through his work so we went down to Phoenix and stayed in a hotel for the night. It was fun staying in nice AC and enjoyed the pool. They had a bird cage there, but you can't really see the little yellow parakeets. Bird cages kind of make me sad though. The birds can't really fly around; birds need to fly!!

We (us, Jason, Cooper, Brianna and Killian, Emily) went to the diamondbacks game Saturday night. They were playing the Dodgers (I always go to the games when they play the Dodgers!) We took the light rail, it was a fun experience but probably won't ever do it again :) The game was really fun, and short! And you gotta love the diamond dog, delicious!

Jeter did really good! Of course the loud noises scared him a couple of times but he stayed awake for the whole thing (yay?) but was such a good little sport and got lots of attention from strangers!

Jeter is smiling at the people behind us, Killian had a good time entertaining them too! It's funny how friendly people become when you have a baby. It was a really fun weekend and hopefully we can go to another game before the season is over! And the D-Backs won!

Good News! We officiallyy get to stay in Globe for the Fall semester!!! Kameron will have to commute for his class at ASU, but we are so glad to know where we will be for the next little while.

Gila Box

One fun thing about living in Globe is having a garden! We are enjoying fresh squash and can't wait for the cantelope to be ready! I am super excited to get some pumpkins planted!

We headed to Thatcher to see Brianna and Killian after their month long vacation in Hawaii. Nick took us out to the Gila River and we had such a fun time! Jason was there with Ava and Dayton also. It was so much fun and hopefully we can go there again soon!

The water is only like 3ft at its deepest point so it was perfect for the kids. And it was like bath water!

We got to spend time with Dane and Max (Hannah and Paige were gone to a girls night out) we missed them! But had a lot of fun with lots of little kids running around! Max is a little over a year, but he and Jeter were able to play together!

Killian is crawling all over the place. He is such a wonderful little boy. I just love him to pieces! It's so good to have them back home!!

Boat update: My dad and Kameron got the carpet all cleaned up but the gas line or something was cut so we have to take it in to get fixed. Have to replace the ladder, some torn seats, handles and a bar on the front. We all still cannot believe that all happened! I couldn't figure out how to get my camcorder onto the computer for pictures/video. Lets just say it was not a pretty sight. I can't beleive the water filled the entire boat at one point! I am glad I wasn't there to see it though.

Kameron is enjoying his internship and it's looking like it may be extended through the fall so he can take his class from ASU, just waiting for the last approval! We really hope this is how it all works out. We don't want to move again so soon and really enjoy it here!

Fourth of July

For the Fourth of July we went to Lake Roosevelt with family. We decided that July is too hot to camp. Besides it being really hot we had a lot of fun wake boarding, knee boarding and eating really yummy food! My parents and Emily came on Saturday, and that's where the story really starts. We were loading up all the stuff on the boat and just enjoying the afternoon noticing the dark clouds in the distance but thinking we would be out of there before the storm hit. Well minutes before the waves hit the guys get back from the ramp and the waves get bigger, and bigger. Before we know it the boat is filling with water and chairs and life jackets are being swept away by massive waves. All the guys were trying to keep the boat from sinking and Janel and I rescued what we could. Thankfully all the chairs and most of the jackets.

There are no pictures because my camera was in the boat, RIP my faithful camera along with a couple of cell phones. So I will try to explain the waves crashing into the boat going over the guys heads. I have never seen anything like it. Kameron has worked so hard on this boat. We have sacrificed to get this boat up and running. We just got it out of the shop last weekend. This toy is not cheap. So to watch it be almost sunk and ripped apart was one of the most painful things. I bawled like a baby a couple of times. Not that I was loosing a material possession, but to watch hard work be destroyed in minutes.

There is a good ending. We left the guys taking care of the boat to get kids and babies out of the sun. They stayed and were able to bucket out water and some wonderful person towed them to the ramp. The sheriff wouldn't be able to come until the morning. Some carpet was ruined and fuel hose torn and some other damage, but we took it to Thatcher the next day and Kam and my dad were able to clean the carpet and we will just have to start replacing the lost and damaged stuff.

It was not the way to end a fun lake trip. I am so thankful no one was hurt. It was a very dangerous situation. We said a prayer, but the wind didn't stop right away. We learned that sometimes Heavenly Father lets the waves crash into us, but our faith keeps us going. He always is watching over us even through the storm.

We did have so much fun hanging out. There is no soda in the can but Jeter just loves to eat and drink what all the big people are eating and drinking.

I am trying out a new setup of blogging so this might be jumbled. Jeter looks so cute in hats! I love when we wears his baseball hat!

It was my birthday on the 20th. We had a nice quiet birthday celebration complete with chocolate pudding pie (which I love for some reason) So here is to making my year of 23 one of the best!

We had a special visitor too! Julie Ann Ellerman! She hasn't met Jeter yet and so she stopped by on her way home from Thatcher! I love this girl, she's been an awesome friend for many years and it was so much fun spending the afternoon with her. Julie also holds a special place in our hearts because she pretty much introduced Kameron and I four years ago...

That's where this picture leads to, is our 4 year anniversary! June 22nd. Kameron got me some beautiful flowers! (I love getting flowers!) I love Kameron so much he is the most wonderful husband! Mainly because he puts up with me and is such a wonderful father and provider. He makes me so happy and love him so, so much!

Jeter does cry...

Our next visitors were Cade, Caryn and Conner. Kameron's brother. They spent the weekend with us, we went to the Gila Valley temple and the lake and enjoyed some yummy Mexican food!

Jeter is funny with other babies. He just kind of stares at them like "who, what? Why are you making those noises?" it's so funny! He's kinda like his mom, just takes him a while to warm up to strangers.

Cade, Kam, Jeter and I went to the lake on Saturday. I love the lake. Boats are expensive but we always have such a fun time!! Jeter was a little nervous about the whole water thing but he loved it by the end of the day!

So I wakboarded! Never done it in my life and decided it was about time! It took me several times but the guys were patient and good teachers and was out of the water pretty fast! Every muscle in my arms and back were screaming the next day! But I am way excited to go again!

Wrinkle Toes

Jeter loves spending time in the sink. The other day he spent atleast an hour in the sink and so Jeter had his first set of wrinkle toes!

I went to Thatcher last weekend because Kameron was in Tucson for work. We had a fun time just enjoying Thatcher!

The other day we put Jeter in the pantry. He had fun with the new adventure!

We are still getting used to the warm weather, poor Jeter's little hot cheeks!

River Adventure and House

We went to the Salt River last weekend. Kam was talking to someone who takes his kids there so we thought we would try it out. It was so much fun getting out into the warm weather and getting to play in the water. Kameron tried fishing and got a bite or two but didn't catch anything. Next time! Jeter Loved the Water! He was a little unsure at first but ended up loving it! Even playing in the sand was fun. We had a yummy subway lunch and just enjoyed the afternoon, and hopefully we will be visiting the river again soon.

A New Chapter

These past weeks have been busy! We moved to Globe with no problem. Besides the snow falling on us as we packed up our apartment in Flagstaff. We love the home we are staying in! I still need to take pictures. We will be here until August for sure, but than it depends on Kameron's work. Moving again in three months doesn't sound fun At All! We really like our location and the feel of the small town life!

After we got settled in for a week we were off to Cottonwood for Tanner's graduation from high school. It was fun spending time with the Johnson's and the even made the trip to Globe the next morning and spent the day with us.

For Memorial Day we headed to Thatcher and had a BBQ and got to see some family.

Kameron is having a good experience so far at Freeport. The folks we rent from planted a garden in the space next to the house so hopefully we have a fun learning experience with that. We really like it here and I will get pictures up soon of the new place!

These past few weekends have been filled with family time! We went down to Thatcher and and got to see Nick and his family! They've been in Hawaii the past year or so while Nick has been doing school. Here are some pictures:

We all met up in Queen Creek for Family Pictures!! It's been six years since we've all been together. That's Nine of us including Mom and Dad, Four in-laws, and 12 grandkids! I am so gald everything worked out because Nate and his family are headed to Korea in August for another couple of years! Boo!!! I understand his situation but we will miss them So So much! We watched a movie outside on a projector, celebrated my Dad's birthday and just had a good time together! Family Pictures coming soon!

We have been collecting boxes because.......We are moving!!! Yup, we finally figured out the whole internship thing. It's been very fast and stressful but things have finally been figured out. Kameron got an internship with Freeport McMoran in Globe, AZ. And starts May 23rd. So we are moving this weekend. We found a three bedroom 1 and 3/4 bath house in a nice nieghborhood. It's only for the summer which is good and bad. It has some things that are missing that make life a lot easier, like a dishwasher and AC but after the trying to find a place to live stress I am excited we found something. So we will see what August brings.

We are excited for a new change and for Kameron to start working in his field. He'll have one more class to take in the fall than graduation this December! So after the summer will be interesting, if he'll get a job with the mines or if we will have to move to Phoenix, or commuting to ASU to take his last class. So we will see! It should be a fun summer!

The Lake!

This week we went to Lake Mead for Easter. It's been a long tadition of the Johnson's and we always have a good time when we go! But before we went Kameron was working on his truck with a little help from Jeter...I went to go take an easter bunny picture with Jeter that day and all they had was a cardboard bunny and you had to take the picture yourself, Lame!

My mom came up for a couple of days and took the boat out for a spin, and it was Jeter's first time on the boat, And wearing a life jacket his little face would get all squished up he couldn't play with toys cause his hands couldn't meet in the middle, but he seemed to like it.

We left for Lake Mead on Wednesday, let's just say it was a loooong day! We stopped in Kingman and met up with Natalie, got to meet Logan! Cute little guy. And we kinda took a long time in Kingman for some reason so we didn't get to the lake until 9 PM we slept in the bed of a truck and than headed to camp that morning. Funny story, we couldn't sleep in our truck cause it was full so we took gamble and slept in one of the other trucks next to us. We assumed it was Kameron's uncle's and it was, would've been funny for a stranger to drive away with us in their truck!

We pretty much just sat around and played in the sand and tried not to get too sunburned while the guys went out fishing. This is Ryan (Kameron's cousin Nikki's baby. He is 3 weeks older than Jeter)

On Saturday this is what greeted us....SnOw!! Thankfully it'll warm up fast and melt it all quickly!

Jeter is starting to show his personality more everyday. He makes new faces like the once below. And can make lots of new noises. He says Ma and Da But doesn't know what he's saying so for now it's just fun to hear him practicing new noises. I love when he just says the same sound over and over, so funny!

SO! This Sunday was little Logan's blessing in Kingman. We wake up bright and early get all ready and out the door, only four minutes behind schedule. Well 50 minutes outside of Flagstaff is the town of Winslow. As we enter this lovely town a big sign says "road closed 7 miles ahead, expect delays". Not good. The blessing is at 11:00am and we still have a good hour and a half to go! Well we come to a complete stop at 9:05 AM behind a semi. And we wait, and wait,...and wait. This was our view for SIX HOURS!!!!!

But that doesn't stop Kam, Jeter and I from having a fun day! We took pictures and ate a tasty lunch, used the internet on Kam's phone and had some good quality time together which doesn't happen much these days because of work and school. And Jeter was so good the whole time!

Our yummy lunch consisted of brownies, cheezits, and a yummy pasta salad I had made for the blessing.

Buuuut since we wern't prepared to eat in our car I got to eat with a serving spoon!

We finally got to squeeze onto the shoulder at about 3ish PM and drive don the on ramp. What really urged us to make that decision was the car beside us opening up the lane and we needed to use the bathroom :) It's funny how a situation like this could be soo miserable but the time really did go by fast and it was fun spending time together (don't know if being stuck in the car had anything to do with that haha) and just keeping a good outlook on the whole deal. When we got home we found out that the roads wouldn't be open until 10:30 PM !!!!!! yikes. There were several other accidents on our way back into town, just not a day to be on the road I guess!

**Shout-out to Nick in Hawaii for graduating this past weekend! Good Job and we can't wait to see you back in AZ!

Sports Fans!

We recently went down to Mesa for Dayton's baptism! Dayton is the youngest of my oldest sister Janel's kids. I can't believe how old these kids get! It's crazy to remember them as babies and see them now growing up into teenagers. We have lots of fun at Janel's and spending time with family! This is Dayton with Mark and Janel. My dad recently had to buy a new truck because his Ford was a lemon. He bought a monster truck, GMC Sierra. It's prrretty sweet. Wouldn't it be nice if this was us taking a picture next to our new truck....yeah some day :) We all went to Red Robin...Yum! I seriously inhaled my burger, it was not a weekend for weight loss. I was at the kid end of the table, so here are a few snapshots: Dayton Above and Ava Below And Wyatt. We gave them quarters for the little game things, man those kids go crazy for quarters! We had some fun the other night playing dress up with Jeter-Boy style! Our little D-Backs Fan! I am excited for Baseball season because it gets me in the mood for spring. Or just feeds my spring fever!

Jeter has turned four months (Five in a few days!) But this means we get to eat rice cereal! Jeter is getting used to it and I am getting the hang of feeding him. I feel like he has to learn and I have to learn along with him. But we make it happen and it adds some excitement to our life!

This past weekend Kameron and his brother Cade went to lake Pleasant for a little guys lake trip. SO I volunteered to watch the babies while Caryn went to work for the day. It was really easy actually. Both babes took Looong naps but the problem was I got kinda bored. It was fun playing with them though!

The guys both caught a fish or two and got some sun. Back at home we all bundled up in our hoodies and I couldn't help but take a picture!

So Natalie had her baby! Logan Jacob Robles! But we haven't had the chance to see him yet, hopefully soon! We are still waiting to hear about internships and whatnot, that needs to be solved because we have to renew our lease the end of April. We just have to have faith if something is supposed to work out, it will.

The Japan earthquake/tsunami thing is Really sad! I cannot imagine that kind of devestation. I read a story of a lady that was running with her little girl and lost her in the confusion and hasnt found her yet. Can you imagine? I can't. I pray they recieve the reliefe they need physically and emotionally. It's hard to understand how Heavenly Father could let something this horrible happen, but He is the only one that can get them through this.

It makes me think about the things I have and all the people I love. I am so grateful for all these wonderful things in my life.

This past week I went to Thatcher. I got to meet the new dogs, Track and Macey and just enjoy being home. before I left we got these cute pictures of Jeter...

We went down to Mesa to go to the temple. It was a special visit because my friend Melanie went through for the first time because she's getting married March 4th! I'm so happy for her! And also Kameron did my grandpa Fenstermaker's endowments. It was such a good feeling and I am so glad the work could be done for him.

After the temple my mom and I, and Jeter of course, headed to Thatcher. I have lots of pictures of Jeter and Killian! They're just sooo cute! We pretty much just hung out, got our eyelashes and hair done. The bad part was on Sunday we went to church and Killian got sick and it spread to Jeter. Poor thing had a fever. And since I got the sickness a few days later the poor kid most likely had the aches, sore throat and a stuffy/runny nose. Sick babies are no fun. We are both still recovering. But anyways! Thanks for all the sleeping advice, it seems there are good nights and bad nights. And sometimes we just like to take naps...too cute!!

Im finding out Jeter likes to play with toys when he wakes up. He loves this little squeaky money and he's starting to hold things, even his bottle! yay!

This past weekend we went to Cottonwood for Natalie's baby shower, we had so much fun and she got lots of cute stuff!

Right now we are trying to get Jeter to sleep in a crib, by himself. Let's just say I've never gone with lack of sleep for so long. Any tips?? We've let him cry it out and it didn't work. After two hours it just wasn't worth it. I'm thinking full tummy, nice and warm, dry and some music? I've yet to accomplish all these at the same time. The other problem is he wakes us atleast every three hours if not every 45 minutes. Yikes. I bought a mobil but havn't tried it out yet. Hopefully he gets the whole sleeping thing soon!!!

We've recently been helping Jeter learn how to sleep by himself in the crib. I wish we would have started this habit when he was a newborn. It's a lot of stress on us and him but he is already getting the hang of it. And we all sleep better too! I do wish that parenthood came with a user manual !!

what we've been up to:

Kameron has started school again, last big semester!!! He has a full schedule again. So the balance between work, school and homework begins again. I know he'll do great he always does!

I am working Tuesdays and Thursdays at the chiropractic office and Jeter comes with me. It's nice to get out of the house and put my energy towards something else other than house work and babies. I also met this wonderful gal in my ward who has an elliptical machine so I get to go over to her house and she watches Jeter and her 7 month son Luke. I can't believe how lucky I am!

The two most important men in my life.

Can I say that with each passing day my obsession with this little boy grows! I want to squeeze him like a little kid squeezes a little puppy! Don't get me wrong sometimes I want to just sleep and ignore the crying. I don't want to change another poopy diaper or supply his nourishment, but when he gives us little smiles and coos and even a random laugh (which melts my heart) it is allll worth it.

We had Jeter's baby blessing on the 19th this month, exactly 2 months old! We had lots of family come up to Flagstaff and squish into our apartment :) but we had a really fun time! The blessing was so special. I was so emotional because I was just thinking about the hard road we had to take to get to this point. A misscarriage and fertility problems, to have Our baby being blessed was a miracle to me and I am so grateful. Kameron gave a wonderful blessing. I was a little crazy I guess, trying to make everything perfect and make everyone comfortable. I will hopefully get the picture from Emily soon....I only got one of Kam and I with Jeter. Jeter looked ADORABLE!

We had a wonderful christmas this year!! I have to say the last two have been some of the more gloomier, so this year was a breath of fresh air! We went to Janel's house in Queen Creek and spent christmas morning there, I was especially excited to see Nate, SungMi, and Aiden! So we picked up this puppy for Kameron's dad. It was a suprise gift for the Johnson family. She's the cutest little thing! She was snuggling with Jeter during nap time.

I can't forget Killian's baby blessing at home on christmas eve! It was such a wonderful experience! I love Brianna and little Killian. It really brought the christmas spirit!

We went to Cottonwood mid day on Saturday and spent some time there and than we went to Prescott for Connor's blessing. (Caryn and Cade's baby) it was fun spending more time with family. But it was nice to get home after a long weekend. I don't know if Jeter knows his home, but he always gets all happy when we come home from a long weekend out of town.

I am already thinking of the new years resolutions I will most likely set and fail to complete haha. But it's nice to feel like I'm getting a fresh start. Kameron got 4 A's and one C this semester!!! He IS AMAZING! So for now we will enjoy the winter break! Oh and it is turning out to be a warm winter. Hardly any snow so far!!!

Another Chapter

It seems this time of year many things start to change and new chapters of life begin. Emily moved home from Provo. She graduated beauty school and moved home as a hair dresser and eye lash extension specialist and a more mature woman, we are so proud of her for all she's accomplished! Yay Emmers!

So for her graduation they got to present models. Some girls did high fashion but emily did a "new" mom look

so I got a hair cut and color, make up and I got to wear emily's cute shirt!

This little road warrior drove 16 hours broken up 4 hours hours each day! He slept pretty much the entire way! Love the baby stage!

After the graduation we went to Tocano's with emily's friend katrina, her fiance and his sister. They resturant brings you meat on spickets and has an awesome salad bar. We had such a good time!

So on Saturday morning we got up at the crack of dawn and helped pack emily up and than had a visit with kameron's mission buddy Dustin. We then headed back to Hurricane and went to a christmas party that night. It was so much fun hanging out with people our age. There were so many kids! we had a really good time and we also got to meet little Ryan Anthony Jones, Kam's cousin Kicki's little boy, they are 3 weeks apart.

We also spent some time with grandma and grandpa Ewell. We always have such a good time when we go to Utah and always leave thinking of ways how we could move there someday...

Another chapter has closed in our lives, Kameron's most difficult semester is over and he now only has one full semster left! We now are on the hunt for an internship this summer. I feel like time is flying by, but we are so excited for each new fun thing that comes up, like christmas!!!! It'll be here before we know it!

I love this season! Thanksgiving and Christmas! family and food what more could you want? This thanksgiving we went to Thatcher, I actually went down to mesa early (kam's idea) and spent the beginning of the week at Janel's house. The kids got to meet Jeter, and we just got to have a fun time with the Lamb fam! it was just what I needed!

Bri and mom came on Tuesday. My mom was supposed to have her foot surgery on wed but it didn't get scheduled? Maybe it was a good thing so we had regular mom and not a mom on drugs. the surgery was rescheduled for today! good luck mom!

Dad was sneaky and came home from his job in Nevada! he had a nasty cold, I think it was bronchitis. we had to take him to the ER tuesday night it was so bad. By the end of the week he was feeling much better!

Janel and the kids came up Friday and us "little" girls went to see Harry Potter! so good! Janel even took family pictures of kam, jeter and I. I'm so excited to see how they turn out! And happy birthday to mom on thanksgiving day! we also helped her put up the christmas tree and decorations.

Once again my pictures are in the wrong order but oh well! It was snowing on Sunday morning, wasn't really sticking though. But it's fun to see the winter season really start to kick in! I don't think I have a good picture with Jeet yet, and since my hair is still wet I still don't know if this is a "good" picture of us.

so we got this baby carrier from kam's mom. I think they look goofy but when you want to get stuff done it makes it nice to have. It's hard to get him in and out of it by yourself. But he loves being in the middle of things. He likes being carried around while I try to kitchen chores and laundry. He loves looking at the lights and I think the walking calms him.

I love this little outfit. My mom and I went to old navy while she was here...the baby section is dangerous.

we are so excited for Thanksgiving this coming weekend! Me for family time and Kameron to be done with a rigerous work/homework schedule. It will be so nice to spend time together, which is a rare occassion these days and eat lots of food!

Oh, and Jeter turned a month old on Friday! He will be 5 weeks on Tuesday and I think he's about eight lbs.! he's growing so fast!

Babies are tough. Eat--every two hours, spit up, bottle warming. Sleep--but wake up every two to three hours, with mom and dad because anywhere else just isn't good enough. Poop--on dad, on mom, in the night, in the day, and it stinks.
Now all of this was expected don't get me wrong! But living it is a lot different than just thinking about it. Good thing my body is adjusting to less sleep and I am able to function in the night a lot better.
But at the end of the day we have the cutest baby who gives us cute smiles and little coos. We just love him SO much!!

I can't believe how fast time is going by! My little Jeter will be two weeks old on Tuesday! Being a new mom is something I never could have prepared for. I've never worried about someone so much. Kameron is a great Daddy. These pictures are out of order but that's okay...

Yay for Moms! I'm so glad my mom stayed with me I never could've done this without her. Doing my laundry and cleaning my house. Just to have someone say "that's normal don't worry" was helpful! And not to mention my mom held the babies in heaven makes her the number one napping spot!

On Friday Brianna came to pick my mom up and we had a fun time introducing cousin Killian to Jeter! They're about 7-8 weeks apart.

Our baby boy is Here! Jeter Davis Johnson born Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 10:07 AM 7 lbs. 5 oz. 20 Inch. And SUPER CUTE!

How it all happened:

So I poster earlier about being induced-well scratch that plan :) Monday night I started having those contractions again by 10:30 pm they were about 5-6 minutes apart but I kept saying to myself-I'm being induced-this is happening. I think I was scared deep down because I knew. Well I have these contractions and at about midnight Kameron and I are thinking we might have to just go, but I'm still just sticking it out. about 12:30 am I have this really hard contraction and my water breaks! Strangest sensation ever! So Kameron jumps out of bed and I go into change and my mucus plug falls out (TMI but that is how this whole experience goes...) we get to the hospital about 1:00am and get checked in. I was dilated to 4cm and get to 8cm by 3:30 am-ish. My mom, Brianna and Janel and little Killian get there and things start to slow down. We waited till about 6ish till I get to 9cm. My dad gets there and we just kinda wait. There are so many physical, emotional, and mental details this could go one Forever. I start to feel ready. Not a lot of pressure but just ready. By about 9am I am at 10 cm and ready to go! I was actually terrified to push. I was just so nervous! but they start me pushing and they say I have a lip and my pubic bone was in the way so I eneded pushing on my side the rest of the time. I got a window of pain-the epidural just stopped working there--it actually was in the same spot as my mom had with me. So I push for about an hour and finally this little dark haired baby is born and I have the most relief rush through me! It was insane! Crying and hugging and just this amazment of what just happened.

I think the main thing through all of this is you have to know things are not going to happen the way you think. Pretty much everyone stayed in there with me through everything! Not what I had planned but I wouldn't want it any other way.

Janel and nurse Nikki. She was awesome! I couldn't have asked for a better delivery nurse. She had some humor that was a nice change from the high emotions going on. She was just awesome.

And Janel was an awesome birth coach too! I seriously Never could have done this without my amazing family. I don't have a picture of Bri, but she was so supportive, rubbing my feet and getting me to my happy place...chocolate cake :)

All ready to go home! The nurses were awesome. I did't especially like staying in the hospital, but it was a good place to get so much helpful information and make sure me and Jeter were healthy.

Now we are getting to know this handsome little boy and learn how to be good parents. With the help of my mom for the next two weeks. I could never do this without her! The first night at home went fairly well. Who needs sleep right?

It's Go Time!

Part One:
October 18th 3:30AM-I wake up from a dream of a little girl crying to her mom because she's in pain, little did I know that was me in pain! Dreams are funny. I was having contractions...first of all Do I even know what a real contraction feels like? Nope. But whatever was going on hurt real bad and was coming every 6 minutes. Count it out for about an hour. Finally Kameron is awakened by my moaning, and from there on they get further apart..6, 7, 8, 9 minutes. Talk about a let down! Kameron was able to go back to sleep-lucky-but I would fall asleep for a few minutes than be woken up by pain. This goes on until Kameron's alarm at 6:45am. Get up-just have very irregular "contractions" some strong and some not.
Part Two:
Finally get about 45 minutes of sleep, but once again pain wakes me up so I just lay there wondering why I have to go through this and why is this not the real thing?! But I do have a Dr. Appointment at 11:20 to check the baby and talk about "options" So finally I am at the Dr.'s and she asks if I'd like to be induced. Let me tell ya, I was so prepared to hear "Go home, wait it out" But the little guy scored an 8/8 on his well-being test! And she says I can be induced Tuesday at 5am. I'm so caught of Guard I start rambling about who knows what. Thank goodness Kameron was there to help me sort my thoughts and make the plan to be Induced on Tuesday Morning!
Part 3:
So now I'm having menstrual like cramping that intensifies..contraction? every so often and getting more and more nervous that by tomorrow night I will have a baby in my arms. A little helpless person I am responsible for. Why have I been pregnant for 9months and this is just coming into my head?

Well the next couple of chapters of this adventure are yet to come! I thought "I am ready for this!" now I'm like "Whoa I don't know what I'm doing!" Probably one of The most scariest things I've ever done. But I just know it'll be worth it in the end!

TWISTER

Yesterday Four tornadoes hit Bellemont, about twenty minutes outside Flagstaff! The whole town was on alert pretty much all day. The girl I work with, her house was damaged. I cannot even imagine! I am terrified of tornadoes. When we drove through Kansas a long time ago, I stayed on the car floor the whole state. No Thanks!

Now the skies are clear but these poor people have lost their homes! Four tornadoes in Flagstaff's backyard...never would've thought.

Baby Shower!

I begin to Blog with a dirty house all around me...this cannot become a bad habit, I will clean I promise! I have put this off too long anyways and now I can't remember everything I wanted to blog about.
So the fun thing that happened in September was my Baby Shower! Kameron wasn't able to come down with me because of work (Boo!) So I drove myself down early Friday morning and met my mom at Ikea and did a little shopping for a changing table. That was a success! And the most important- I didn't get lost in the big city even changing driving plans and takeing different exits All By Myself. I'm pretty proud of myself for this accomplishment because I've had some pretty bad experiences in the past, anyways!
It was Janel's Birthday! So we went out to eat and funny story, I come back to the table, grab my moms purse to get by and between my belly and her purse I proceed to dump over two, count 'em Two glasses of water All over the table and onto Emily. Can we say embarrassing? So the waiter comes and is like "okay who needs the sippy cup?" Me. So this picture is displaying me and my cup with a lid. Thanks waiter guy!

The baby shower was on Saturday, everyone was working like crazy Friday night and Saturday morning. I seriously have the awesomest family ever! To see everyone working so hard to give you a party. Wow! And since Emily was here from Utah she got to do my hair, which turned out awesome! I sat in the salon most the time and held Killian. No complaints here! And trying not to swell and cramp which happened because of traveling at 35 weeks.
I'm still waiting for pictures...So there will probably be another post relating to the baby shower, but this is what I got:

It was so fun seeing old friends and my girls from T-town! And thanks to Robyn Kleinman for sharing her house and being so generous! And thanks to everyone for the awesome gifts, Jeter is going to be sporti'n some cute outfits!

AND! Little Killian...Sleeping peacefully, sadly he had an upset stomach through the whole shower, poor little guy. I miss him, can't we all live in the same town??! Brianna is an awesome mom and I can't wait for our little guys to play together AND especially when they get to play with their other two cousins (Aiden and Max!)

Speaking of other cousins, we are so excited for Cade and Caryn And Natalie and Jacob (Kam's bro Cade and sis Natalie) to have their babies!! So many babies! His cousin Nicki is due um Today actually!

So now I'm in the waiting game. My Dr. says he is probably in the high Sixes for weight...and that was almost two weeks ago! I measure my week-belly size perfectly. Since my "awesome" job still puts me into positions to work 7 1/2 hour days, even though I'm so supposed to be cutting back, maybe the walking and working will help things along, maybe. I can hope right? :)

Kameron is doing good in school and work. Don't know how he does it. But we are both getting more and more excited for this new adventure!

labor day

For Labor Day we went to Lake Mary and camped out with Kameron's family. The weather was great and we had a wonderful weekend overall! Don't picture me camping because I didn't :) Lake Mary is about 15 minutes from our home so that's where I stayed. We actually camped at another campsite and found a picnic area be the lake. I was a horrible picture taker, so all I have is Kameron's excited face as he fishes...

The boys went wake boarding and I raised my blood pressure playing wizard, oh and we can't forget Kameron beating me in cards by one point. Can't wait for next year when we have a bunch of little kids running around!!

I'm 34 weeks...about 6 weeks to go!

I am defiantly feeling the changes going on as the end comes into sight. I have to give a shout out to my work, they've been so nice and have been very helpful. My mind is saying work! but my body says No way, so they've let me make a schedule that will work for me and I'm still planning on going back with the baby when the time is right.

The 18th is my baby shower in Mesa, I feel like it's a milestone for me. Super excited! And my boss Nicole wants to give me a baby shower in Flagstaff Oct. 2nd. If you havn't received an invite to either one and you want one let me know! I'm mostly excited to get together with friends and family!!!

My nephews asked what a baby shower was for at Brianna's baby shower and we summed it up as a "pre-birthday party" So I can't wait to celebrate this very exciting occasion!

And how could I forget! Brianna had her little baby Killian. So SO cute. I just love him to pieces! I'll defiantly get pictures of the little guy next weekend.

We are still adjusting to this "new" schedule. It's a challenge but it's not forever. I just keep telling myself that. And it really is a blessing for how things have worked out.

I'm so proud of Kameron for all his hard work! He did so much and stayed consistent. Didn't give up with the going got tough. It's nice we live close to a lake (Lake Mary) so we were able to take it for spin.

Other stuff, I had a GREAT weekend with my mom!! Just what I needed. How is it that moms are so awesome? We went to some antique stores and talked and talked and we went to Real Deals and pretty much found the perfect piece of furniture for a changing table/storage/will be so fun to have when it's not a changing table! It's probably good the store is only open Thursdays and Saturdays or else I'd be there wayy to much and want to spend too much money. But we had a great time! Kameron had a good time out hunting, didn't get anything but he had a good time. He starts his new schedule this Saturday. It's going to be tough but Kam is a trooper.

We went through the hospital the other day to pre-register. Made it all so much more real! Jeter is defiantly growing! And so is the belly, we can't wait to meet the little guy!

On-Going Projects

So I went through this little craze of, marshmallows? I decided I wanted to try to make some. I messed up the first batch, but was determined to find a better recipe and try again, so batch number two turned out pretty good!

Now I just have a bag full of marshmallows sitting in my pantry! They tasted good and it was fun!

The Boat:
So because of all the rain Kameron has had to postpone working on it so it seems to be dragging on, but he does a lot of the work at our humble abode, which means our house smells of carpet glue and there is carpet everywhere. My one project I was given was to re-do a seat cover. At first I was like yeah sure I can do that (no sewing machine) so when Saturday rolled around I was like uh yikes! But it actually worked out really good (for a seamstress of my level)

I took the back off and a side piece, by the time I decided I needed to document this adventure I'd already sewn on the side piece. The left side is the new piece.

So obviously the boat project is still ongoing but we hope to have it done by the end of the week!
It's been hard work (especially for Kameron-he is one dedicated guy!) and thanks to Cade (his bro) for helping with carpeting, but I know it will be so rewarding in the end.

So this super nice patient that comes in at the Chiropractic office, mentioned how she had some baby stuff she'd like to give us. Whoohoo! Some of it's super tiny and some is 3-6 months. Shoes, and little hats, So SO! cute. I made Kameron sit with me and go through it all (one big huggies sized box!) What a sweet husband, anyways, here are some little booties she gave us (how did she know Kameron really likes Michael Jordan?!)

I can't believe how nice family and friends have been. Giving us free stuff that would usually cost lost of money and just making all this seem possible (it's a little mind boggling sometimes)

So thanks to anyone and everyone who has helped and I know will help us. We are just surrounded by such giving people. Thank you!!!!!!

ps-Good News! My mom is coming to spend the weekend with me, and Kameron will be out hunting! The best of both worlds for the each of us!

Happenings...

So this post was so supposed to be full of the boat being re-carpeted, but as luck would have it, it rained ALL day Saturday. We woke up early and we could see the clouds, but it really hadn't rained all week. So we stopped by Home Depot and by the time we were ready to head out to the boat it was pouring! And it was socked in so we decided maybe not.

Instead we went to Snowflake to the temple, so next weekend will be boat weekend. And hopefully Kameron can get some done this week and get a head start on this giant project!!

So my parents have been going through this horrible house situation and just in the past week they went to court so a decision could be made over who owes what, yadyada...and they found out the they won the arbitration! This is a huge deal and it has caused my parents extreme stress. I'm so happy for them and for being honest and I just know the Lord was looking out for them. It was a very happy day when they got the good news!

So here is my sympathy paragraph, so beware:

Pregnancy is hard. I love feeling this little baby grow inside of me, but man! I feel like a cow a lot of the time. I can't breathe. It's like he sits in my diaphragm. And recently I've been having morning sickness! I thought it would go away after a week but it just comes and goes and it just is really hard. I'm tired. Oh and can I talk about indigestion/heart burn for a second? It hurts so bad it goes up into my jaw and I can't function. It stinks when I'm laying down to go to bed and acid starts seeping up into my throat and it burns and I just want to cry. And today! So my hand were swelling and I couldn't get my wedding ring off. So I'm at church in the primary room playing the piano and decided to take my ring off and set it there. Surprise! We leave and there is road work so we have to back track (I'll spare the details) we get home and I realize I've forgotten my Wedding Ring! Yikes. Long story short I got it back in one piece. Thanks Goodness! But honestly? Okay I'm done.

Kameron finally found out he is going to be running an afternoon route + Saturdays. Boo! But we are so blessed he even gets to keep his job and insurance. And it's only for three-ish months. Kameron says he is going to go into survival mode though. It's going to be a tough semester in A lot of ways. He's a trooper and I'm so grateful for a husband than works so hard.

So this is the only pic I have and it's not a good one, but I want to keep track of my "growth"

Oh, and the other night it felt like he was laying horizontal and pushing on my ribs? The pain was horrible! I took a bath and that helped, but oh man it was paiiinful! Sure will be nice to just have him here with us instead of in my belly!

Fish and Babies

So this post is made up of a lot of different events and some randomness...First off is our little fishing adventure in Flagstaff to a little pond. Kameron caught a big catfish!!! some small other ones and than a bunch of people showed up (right after the rain clouds cleared) but it was really fun and I even caught a really pretty sun fish!

Next fun thing was putting together the crib...we were going to wait a while before starting all of that (not sure why) but anyways, Kameron got real mad at his Football game and so when I got home he was taking out the broken pieces and getting rid of the old TV upstairs, so it seemed like a good time to just put everything together are redo the room!

Thanks to Grandma Ewell's awesome garage-sale-ing we got this awesome crib for free!!

This past weekend we had Brianna's baby shower down in Mesa/Queen Creek. It was a seriously quick trip but SO fun! Janel is just awesome awesome at decorating and going the extra mile!! For example this adorable diaper cake, and later this table was surrounded by delicious chicken salad sandwiches and salads and fruits and mom's yummmy cheese ball. Heaven!

Oh and I cannot forget The best (and I'm not exaggerating) chocolate cupcakes. They are actually sheet cake? with frosting made out of flour...thanks Pioneer Woman for letting us in on this secret.

It was so much fun seeing Brianna's friends (who were always in our house growing up, like family) and friends from Harris 2nd, and long lost family!!! Bri got some Super cute stuff and just made everything way to real! Little Killian is due September 9th!!!

I have to admit it made my due date seem too far away, and I can't wait for my baby shower in September. I can't wait to see what Janel can put together for baby Jeter! Oh did I mention we kinda chose a name...? Jeter Davis (Jee-ter). Yes, yes I know it's different and it is the name of a Yankee, but we like it and it just seems to fit, it's hard to explain. But we like it (and if he comes into this world not a Jeter we have other names on the back burner)

We don't have much going on after all this eventful stuff, we are getting The Boat fixed. We've brought that thing back from the dead so many times, but we are determined to make this time last a lot longer and put it to good use in the future! Should be done sometime in August, so I'll post pictures of the final project!

Last weekend we got to go to Thatcher! It was a quick trip but we had a great time with family and just hanging out. Kameron and I went to the Gila Valley Temple saturday morning, and we went crawdad (spelling?) fishing on friday when we got there, took all the little kiddos too fun fun!

We stayed up laaate so on Saturday I took and nap and LuLu decided to join me...

Outdoor Adventures!

This Fourth of July we went fishing in Williams and pretty much just hung out at home. We had a lot of fun fishing (especially because Kameron caught some fish!) And he's had his parents quad so he's been out scouting, one of his favorite past times...here are some pictures...

Kameron finally got me to go out with him on the quad. It was fun being outdoors and all but by the end my body was DONE being bounced around! I think that was my last quad ride for a while. We had a fun time though, only saw one elk but Flagstaff does have one good thing: pretty scenery.

While we were out Kameron's dad and little brothers (Tanner and Sam) came to Flagstaff for some fishing.

Kameron had to work Saturday but we were able to drive out to Williams that afternoon and go fishing with them.

Sadly the fish swallowed the hook and had to be taken home to Cottonwood (notice all the little fish...fertilizer for their garden)

So we had a really good time, no fireworks though. Too many fires up here in Flagstaff. On Monday I had the opportunity to clean, like really clean, the house while Kameron went to work. Not such a good idea for the pregnant bod, but it's all good.

So this weekend we've kinda spontaneously decided to go to Thatcher. Emily is coming to AZ (can't get enough of the people she was so anxious to be rid of) :) we are pretty awesome haha. But it should be fun going to Thatcher spending time with family!

Summer Fun!

I feel like I have been Blogging all the time! I guess June has just been busy, busy!
I had my birthday (on father's day!) So Kameron's family came down and Cade and Caryn happened to be in Flagstaff too so we did a combined Father's Day/Birthday dinner for Cade and I. Dinner was delicious and I could have eaten Caryn's cake all by myself! But I resisted. I did get a book The Alliance, which I've already finished...Love it! It was an awesome birthday!

So after having to get through two days of work we headed off to Phoenix for our anniversary get-away! So worth it! The guy upgraded our room to a casita and it was right next to the pools, awesome! and we had a bunch of gift cards to some Yummy restaurants so we ate Good! Maybe a little Too good! The yummy cinnamon butter at Texas Road House and Apple Crisp desert at On the Border was wonderful!

So after our fun filled stay at Hilton Point at Squaw Peak, we headed into Mesa/Queen Creek for some family time!! Could this weekend get any better? At Janel's house we had a yummy dinner and cake and I got a some cute presents (pictures to come) and fun decorations. I love my crafty sisters and mom!

So after all that excitement was Emily Martin's wedding on Saturday! She looked Gorgeous and I am just so happy for her! The wedding was beautiful and I'm so glad we were able to go and be there for that special occasion!!

Mrs. Almost Lunt and 80th Birthday's

A couple of weekends ago our dearest friend Emily had her bridal shower!! I'm so glad we made the trip to Mesa. It's so good to see old friends. And next weekend (June 26th) we will go to her wedding!! Exciting!

The next weekend we traveled to Southern Utah for Kameron's grandma's 80th Birthday party. I love going there, it's like this oasis. We ate lots of yummy food and pretty much just had a fun relaxing weekend with family. Turns out there are Eight grand babies coming this year...yes eight. wow. Here is Kam and I at the big party for Grandma Johnson.

Tina (Kameron's mom) was in charge of lunch on Saturday! It turned out SO good. Pulled pork sandwiches with homemade BBQ sauce and delicious coleslaw (which I don't usually eat but this was Good coleslaw!) Yumm. Here's Caryn and I, I think we are like...5 weeks apart..somewhere around there, Thanks for the picture Caryn! I was kinda lame-o when it came to taking pictures...I need to take more pictures!

On Sunday we headed back to real life. Bummer. But that's okay, life just keeps rolli'n! Our little baby is grow'in strong! Nice to get punches in the stomach at 2AM. It's a love tap right? But really it's so exciting to feel this life growing inside me! I need to cherish the newness of it all. Kameron's summer school is going good. Oh and this coming week we are headed to a resort in North Phoenix for a couple of days because...it's my birthday on the 20th! yay 22! and our 3rd anniversary...! and our last big hurrah! before we have a baby and fun, easy trips become non existent. That about sums it up though, laying by the pool here I come!

Family Visit part #2

We went to Thatcher this past weekend, went through the temple and pretty much just hung out and did what DeRusha's do best...music! Kameron was a sport, went to Blue Ponds but didn't catch anything. Most of Janel's family was there, Jason and Ava, and Brianna! Here are some pictures....

And the girls! We didn't plan on being in Thatcher all at the same time but it just happened on its own! I was so excited to see Emily, Julie, and Molli, it had been wayyy to long. And the night before I went to a friends reception and saw Lyndee and Jordan and some other long lost friends...

This is backwards but on Friday night we went and sang at this little ice cream shop-per request of The Dad for his birthday preset, it was fun, and I havn't sang in front of anyone in quite some time, but it went well for 15 minutes of notice. Happy Birthday Dad! (May 15th)

It was so fun playing settlers, eating yummmmy cinnamon rolls, singing, and just catching up with family! Now that there is temple hopefully we can visit Thatcher more. I forget how fun my parents house is. My dad re-did the sauna (had a little fire problem couple months back) but it's kinda better than the first edition. The kids get to play with fire and there is just No place like home.

So here is my most recent preggers shot. I really grew the past couple of days! I'm 18 weeks. It's so exciting as the baby grows and I start getting little kicks and flutters! Love it!!

Funny story, so they say you can get pregnant brain or something like that...anyways I have it. And I'm at work and realize I've forgotten my wedding ring at home! I Never do that! Sheesh! Anyways I'm just working away and hear a little jingle and realize I've forgotten them in my pocket!! I was going to do a therapy and took them off but didn't end up doing it...hopefully I get my brain cells back in five months.

So besides all the Thatcher and baby fun, we've just been hanging out in Flagstaff, watching the Suns vs Lakers game with Cade and Caryn when they are in town from Prescott. Other than that life is pretty quite. Which is kinda a good thing, better enjoy it!

Family Visit part #1

This month we get to see family! Yay! Natalie (Kameron's sister) graduated from NAU so some family came down from Cottonwood and Utah. We went out to Lake Mary and pretty much just sat around and talked...and got sunburned :) It was fun just being outside and not stuck in an office!
Than on Saturday Emily stopped to stay in Flagstaff for a couple of days before heading to Thatcher for her "leave" from school for a couple of weeks. Hopefully she graduates before the end of the year so she can move closer!
I had to play for primary during sacrament meeting for Mother's Day. So here we are before church...oh and Emily gave me a cute hair cut too!!

I am 17 weeks. Hopefully I start to show more like a pregnant belly instead of a I ate too much junk food belly. But it's all so exciting and I have been feeling pretty good!! Doctor visit have been going good, good strong heart beat!

So this weekend coming up we are headed to Thatcher for (of course) the Gila Valley Temple. And to see some family I havn't seen for a while....Brianna! yay! It'll be a fun little family reunion for everyone that can make it. I'm so excited, hopefully I take some good pictures!

Not much has been going on these past weeks. We went to Lake Pleasant for Easter weekend and listened to conference there on Saturday than went to Cottonwood for the Sunday session. I love conference. It always goes by too fast I think.

Just today we went to Lake Mary to fish. Kameron's dad's boat wasn't working and Kameron's family had to head back to Cottonwood so Kam and I went fishing off the shore for a bit and he ended up catching like a 3-4lb. Pike! It was awesome. And it was just hooked on the lip so we didn't have to deal with the sharp teeth. That's all he caught but it made it worth it.

It's been nice getting outdoors and getting some sun on the white skin. We're looking forward to going to Thatcher soon. Next month sometime. And Nate and Nick's babies are coming these next couple of months!!! But really that's all I can think of that's exciting. I am probably forgetting something, that seems to be happening to be A lot lately. We are excited Kameron only has 3 or 4 more weeks of school left! Only 3 semester to go!

Trip to Utah!

These past couple of days (Saturday - Tuesday) My mom, Janel, and I went to Provo, UT to see Emily! So, so fun!! In my opinion family just needs to be closer than eight hours from eachother! But oh well, It brings us these fun wonderful trips!
So on Saturday Emily did my hair and Janel's, I can tell she's a natural. :) And just kinda hung out. On Sunday we went to Salt Lake and went driving around these amazing neighborhoods. I took a picture of my future house...someday...But it is just such a different style and its so fun to dream!

So after a wonderful day walking around temple square and watching Legacy and The Family, we headed back home so rest up for our Big Day of shopping!!

So here is my cuute Purse I got at Cherry Lane. I serioulsy could have played dressup and just spent all my money in that store. Got a cute watch too! We had so much fun there! We also went to Ti Pan (not sure how you spell that) Seriously spent atleast 2 or more hourse in there. I lost track of time :) But Janel got a super cute purse and Mom got a cute purse too and some awesome home decor stuff. By the time we got there I was down to $3! Hahah. I was able to get a couple of cute things though. I can't wait to go back!

And of course us at the Salt Lake Temple.

So we seriously shopped till we dropped. My feet were killing me! But sooo worth it! We got to watch Bride Wars in this awesome home theatre at the family's house we were staying at. The house was A-Mazaing! And we just got to talk and have some catching up time! Here is Me and Emmers on our way to her house on Tuesday morning. We're already thinking we need another trip in September.

The driving sure made me sick though. :( had to stop on the side of the road a couple of times. Yuck so embarassing. In September I'll just be huge. Oh well! But this trip just inspired me to be more crafty and not to get so caught up in work and the stressful things in life. It was deffinatly worth taking the time off and I just loved being with the girls!

I'm so excited for the warm weather! When I go home for lunch I don't want to go back because it's just too nice outside to be sitting indoors! I guess that's what the weekends are for right? Speaking of weekends, we went down to Mesa for Wyatt's Baptism! I can't believe how old all of Janel's kids are getting. Time just flys!

This coming weekend my Mom, Janel, and I are headed to Provo, UT to visit Emily. I hate leaving Kameron all by himself, but with the NCAA championship going on he might be okay without me. Oh and the 10 page report he has to do. I guess it's always good to go away, makes you realize how much you love what you have. :)

So I feel like my pregnancy is in full swing. This morning sickness (or should I call it all day, any day sickness) is going strong. I'm deffinatly not complaining, but sometimes it really is hard. You're sick because your stomach is empty but half hour after you eat you wish you wouldn't have. What's up with that? I just need to make sure I don't get dehydrated! Oh and what's up with food cravings? It's more like food hating? One minute I'm like yeah that sound good and the next I've changed my mind. And I've always looved grilled chicken, but not these days. Makes my stomach flip upside down just thinking about it. We are so excited though! I told Kameron it's like watching grass grow. In the movies the person gets pregnant and the next minute she's got a belly and going into labor. Not so much in real life. But I've always been a little impatient...just so excited!

I don't really have any pictures to post just a lot of thoughts going through my head. Hopefully I take some pictures in Utah. I'm deffinatly not looking forward to the eight hour drive, but it'll be so fun to get away and enjoy some good quality girl time!

Good News!

So we have some GOOD NEWS! We're Pregnant! It's been a long hard road until now, but everything happens for a reason and we are stronger for it. I am 8 weeks and the Doctor says everything looks good! Due date is October 18th. We are soo excited and so grateful for this wonderful blessing. It really is a miracle!

We decided to dig an igloo under that big pile by our door. It was pretty cool.

So besides having to dig ourselves out all the time and getting water everywhere in the house it wasn't too bad. Oh and the driving home from work on Friday at noon (I wasn't staying any later!) yeah driving in a blizzard and not even knowing if you're on your side of the road was one of The scariest driving experiences! Kameron had the day off on Friday thank goodness. He would have just been driving around in a blizzard!

One of the bad things was all the flat roofs in Flagstaff! There were several buildings that collapsed. Joann's, bookman's, little Cesar's! And some more and other were sagging. I think the snow has finished for now until Tuesday, probably just get some flurries...hopefully!

First Post of Twenty-Ten!

I have been meaning to blog for a while, but just kept putting it off and now I can't remember everything that's been going on! I do know that I didn't take any pictures over the holiday really...bummer. oh well maybe next year? Christmas was good, went to Cottonwood and Mesa. So good to be with family! Than for new years we went to Thatcher and stayed there for the weekend. We havn't been there since July! Too long. But the drive is horendous. And I'm not even sure that's how you spell it but it was worth putting in there! I wish it was only 3 hours even. Poor little Thatcher, down in the middle of nowhere. But it's fun to go and just get out the normal routine. So for Christmas Janel, my awesomely creative and good at whatever she tries sister, made us all these adorable aprons! And they're reversible! So cute!

School has started back up! Boo! The sooner it stars the sooner it's over I guess. My medical coding class starts in the next two weeks. It's been a while since I've sat in a classroom. A little nervous....But it should be good. Kameron is taking electrical systems, masonry, physics 2, and construction architectural...something like that. Besides that and work it's really what we are up to these days. We are in the big decision making process of The Door Shop. It's a very big adult decision and is being turned upside down inside out and everywhere in between. I think we've come up with, try to do it and if everything is falling apart and just seems impossible we won't do it. But we have to move forward somehow so we'll try to do it and if it doesn't work out it wasn't meant to be. It is defiantly a life changing decision though.

So other than life altering career choices we've just been surviving the cold, which we both decided we arn't big fans of. But it's not forever. Kameron is enjoying teaching is 13 year old sunday school class. He understands their behavior because he says he knows he was just like that too. Haha. Any who this post is getting long. If anyone has any business advice we are all ears. But we do know that when it comes down to it we have to make the choice on our own. I'll keep you updated....

December Days

So we are into December already...We're all ready for Christmas. Just have to get through one more day of work! Kameron had his hunt, sadly he didn't get anything. His dad did end up getting a nice bull. So it was a success! Kameron got strait A's this semester! What a smartie! We got our first big snow storm last week or so. Got stuck a couple of times, but nothing too serious.

My medical coding class starts in January and Kam is all signed up for spring semester at NAU. School and work...We are excited for the break for the holidays. Should be fun being with family and all that good stuff.

Kameron and the other guys went out hunting. I didn't do any camping, but did come out for dinner one night.

I forgot to post this video from Thanksgiving. We went to this frisbee golf course and there were these giant trees so of course the boys decided to see if they can jump over them...So here's Kameron.....

So it was Kameron's birthday on the 12th! We had pizza and wings and Kam got a couple of fun things. I made him a dolphins blanket and he got a FM transmitter that is synced with his phone and plays his music over his radio in the car. Pretty cool.

Okay so I got a new calling...primary piano player! So here is me practicing my skills before we head off to church. It's a fun calling, and harder than I thought. But it should be good.

We are looking forward to Thanksgiving this weekend and for Kam's hunt. It'll be nice to get a little break from work. It's getting pretty chilly here in Flagstaff, but no snow just yet. Which is okay with me! Life is good!

Buildings and Halloween

Hello! So this Halloween had some fun things going on. Kam is taking some construction class and he had to pick a dream home, write up the blue prints and than make a model of it! How fun! Lots of work too! So on Saturday we started working on this house at 7:30 am and stopped at 7:45 that night! And I think we took one break to go to Michael's to get supplies. But here are the stages....

It was a lot of fun actually and took until monday night at 10pm to finnish. Hopefully Kameron gets a good grade for how much hard work it took!

So I wanted to post some halloween things, my little ghost is think is cute. I got the ghost from Kam's mom and I had some spray paint and wood laying around.

And I just wanted to take a picture of this little pumpkin I got. I thought it was so cute! Just fits in the palm of your hand. So Cute!

We had a craft day for reliefe society and I got to make a sign with our last name and firsts names on it with the est. june 22,2007 on it. I really like how it turned out! Vinyl is so much fun!

Oh and these are my cupcakes. Why is that things seen on the internet or in books always look better there than when you actually try to make it yourself? Atleast that is the way it is for me sometimes. Lets just say these were A Lot harder than I thought they were going to be. Egor back there, the green wasn't bright enough but it was too late, and the little devils were a random idea. Haha but it was fun. And I think it is important to have the right tools to do cake decorating. And of course they were good to eat!

Last picture is of last week. It got super cold on wednesday and actually ended up snowing! yay. I just wasn't prepared to have to scrape my car off after work, but you do what you have to right? Just a prep for later this year I guess. But it has warmed back up so all the snow is gone and I'm going to enjoy that last few warm, snow-free days.

So things are going good. Kameron is ready for the semester to be over and itching for his elk hunt which is coming up on Thanksgiving. He and Cade are out scouting any chance they get. I'm getting nervous for my medical coding class coming up in January. My facts job (an afterschool program for flagstaff schools) is going good. A little frustrating sometimes, but it's good. Kameron is doing great in school! He has gotten the top test grade a couple of times in his one class! We are still trying to hold off turning on our heater, so we get all bundled up at home and than when we go somewhere we get all hot cause it's really not That cold. Yet....

Hello! So we've been doing some fun things these past couple of months with family. I'm trying to keep things in order but I forget so I'll do my best. We went up to Utah for Kameron's cousin, Randy's wedding. Jason, Ava and Mom came up to Flagstaff and we went to Snowbowl, the ski lift in the winter. We had the Johnson reunion with Kameron's family during Labor Day. We had a going away party for Nick (moving to Hawaii for school) and Emily (going to BYU Provo) And the most recent, Kam and I went to provo for a Florida State vs BYU game in Provo and we got to see Emily. Lots of driving these past months, but we've been having a lot of fun!!
Coming up, we just have our visit to the temple and looking forward to the upcoming holidays and cold weather....

We are still just working and Kameron is going to school. He has some fun classes this semester. He got to pick a dream house, copy the blue prints and they are going to make a mini model of the house. How cool is that! I am looking into a medical coding class that will start up in January and try to fit in an online anatomy class to prep my brain that has taken a break from school. Yikes. We are teaching the 13 year old class in church. Guess we graduated from Nursury whoohoo! We like our new ward, we are going to be speaking in church this Sunday actually. Oh and I've also got another piano student and I am starting an afternoon job at an elementary school. Just kind of something to do while Kameron is at school. Life is keeping us busy!!

Minnesota!!

It's been a while since the Blog has been updated. We've got all settled into our new place and took the long awaited trip to Minnesota! We flew out early Saturday morning and landed around noon. We stayed at a hotel Saturday and Sunday and drove to our cabin on Monday. While we were in Minneapolis we went to the temple, went to Mall of America and went to a really cool museum. Oh and we ate at Applebee's twice! So here are some of the pictures....

St.Paul/Minneapolis Temple. Mom, Kameron and I did an afternoon session. There were only like 10 people in session, much smaller than a Saturday afternoon at the Mesa temple. But it we had a good time and I'm glad we got to go.

So fun! There were some crazy rides and I don't know if it's because I'm a year older or what but I could only ride half of what I used to be able to do! But it was so much fun shopping too!!! I loved shopping there. Had to have a lot of self control, but it was amazing!

There was a snake you could touch and an albino squirrel and goat, dinosaur bones, tons of birds and wildlife and wolves! We had a really fun time there.

So after our fun filled day on Sunday we went to Mall of America one more time cause we didn't really go on Saturday, but than we drove like 2 hours to our cabin on Sandy Lake in the little town of Moose Lake it was outside of Klokay and about an hour from Duluth. Janel got there on Tuesday. We pretty much just fished and swam in the lake in the backyard! And we went to Digger's house for some BBQ's and music. We also got to go drive in monster trucks in the mud! It was really loud but it was fun to be with family and just have a good time!

Here are some fish we caught. There were paddle boats and we had a fishing boat we could go out on. And the paddle boats actually worked really good, just all the paddling...But we mostly caught northern pike, small mouth bass and a couple rock bass, crappie and I caught a small perch. We also went fishing on the river. Kameron caught some feisty bass but other than that we just got the experience of fishing on the river.

The northers have really sharp teeth and they are really slimy! So you have to be careful. Early Saturday morning we took a trip out with Dad's cousin and caught a boat full of pike. There is a monster pike out there because it took me under the boat, Mom and Dad all on different outings, but it just cut the line and we could never see it or catch it!! We need to go back to catch it!

On Saturday we had a mini family reunion because the majority of us left on Sunday.

It was so much fun being with family and Minnesota is just beautiful!! I wish we could live by the water like that and all the green!! I just don't know about the winters...yikes. I can't wait to go back again (hopefully sooner this time)!!
